Yahoo closes auction site

Seems that Yahoo is throwing the white towel on its auction website.
The Yahoo auction website never really took off and a lot of yahoo users were not even aware of their auction website (I speak for myself). It is only lately that I knew that Yahoo had an auction website and there was nothing much there anyway.
