Default Do you find Google Analytics confusing? :S

Hey,

Is it just me or is Google Analytics kinda confusing? All that info and stuff..

Not really. It takes a little getting used to but it seems very efficient once you know your way around. What are you having difficulty with?

I use it for my website.
It can be a bit confusing at times but once you get used to it, its a good program to use.

Yes... it can get a bit confusing for new webmasters,
but once you use it for a day or two... it all becomes easy.

It tracks and presents an overwhelming amount of visitor info.

yup it can be confusing at first but its very easy to use and there lot of data you can look at.

The new version is better. Things are more organized.
I heard that Google analytics info such as visitors number were not reliable. People have said Google Analytics under-counts the number of visitors you get.
Don't know if there is any truth to that.

i guess they don't count the some bot hits otherwise they are fine.

Yes, i too have a vague feeling of thought that google analytics was a bit confusing and difficult to understand for a newbie like me. Hence i use mostly statcounter and sitemeter for all my trackings instead of google analytics even though i use all the three in all of my sites!

It's a lot of information but after awhile you learn where everything is and what it means.
