I use FlashFXP. It costs money but is the best client I've ever used.

I have FileZilla installed, and its good for a free program.
I don't know much about FTP, and my opinion on the programs, is that as long as it works, its good for my needs.

Honestly, if you have cPanel, then you have the best FTP you could get.
I am a massive fan of FileManager v3, its excellent for what I need.

i use portable filezilla. it's a great program for me.

I use core FTP Lite. Anyone may do easy handling through in it!.

I use Dreamweaver to make my sites and I can upload it through its interface, a lot easier than opening a different FTP client.

I use flashfxp, but I've been using cuteftp more and more now as I can transfer files via ssh
