Anyone have any recommendations or advice about managed vps hosting? I am educating myself about the VPS route should I want to upgrade from shared hosting.

I just signed up with KnownHosting. I got set up within 5 hours and transferring everything over was simple. I did a lot of searching around and I couldn't find any negative reviews about them. I am a total beginner when it comes to anything linux or web server. As long as you order their package with a control panel (have a few options), they install it and get it up and running for you. Check their website out, they have some good deals. I've only been with them for a week or so but nothing bad has happened so far - hope I'm not jinxing myself for saying that.

Funny, after doing some homework I wound up going with KnownHost. I liked their answers, speed, and attitude. Not to mention prices.
