I want to start a new site for pats and dogs. I want your suggestions for how to start, links ton domain names and webhosting, how to increase the traffic on site?

There are many websites available from where you can get interactive and animated things for your website. Since your site is about animals, seek for such websites related to animals and place your ad there. Another way of publicizing your website is by joining any online community like Orkut or facebook and post about your site over there.
