can anyone tell me what is means by the directories and where we use them in the computer world and how many types of the directories caz i am new to this?
If you think of a directory as a phone book that lists websites and a description of them. There are many directories out there and even directories of directories. Have a look at the one in my signature that is a general directory. It is free to add sites to it so if you have a website please add it.
