Default Dreamweaver

Dreamweaver is one of the best HTML Editors out there. You can do php and other scripting here as well. I use dreamweaver 8 for my coding only when I have to save time or have to preview.

Anyone else use dreamweaver?

I also use Dreamweaver 8 to do my sites. In fact I do not know HTML (I'm not a professional webmaster) . Dreamweaver just rocks.

I use DreamWeaver 8, a very good program. I use it in class everytime if I am going to work on a simple page ( like a 5 minute work page ). Also dreamweaver has many features that can be very useful on working. Also has great css support, and many more! If anyone makes websites, and haven't tried Dreamweaver 8, you need to get the Trail version!

I do the prototyping on DW then proceed to RapidPHP on the dynamic side of development.

I try to avoid DW with a passion - it doesn't give me the control I desire. Besides, I have developed a disliking for it as most pple abuse its use - for instance, many pple are unaware that it tends to add fluffy, bulky code on your site behind the scenes. Result? Poor SEO for your site and sites that take too long to download. Quite frankly, I would rather use Notepad than DW.

I personally prefer any of the following: Homesite, Eclipse, IntelliJ, JEdit.
