It seems to me you have used features that aren't supported by IE. Make sure after completing your site you should check in as many browsers as you can.

well the problem is because you didn't use web standards while development. I wonder why didn't you check your website in IE as it's the most widely use browser.
As you havent mention the url, and i'm unable to suggest you a solution without analyzing the problem. But if it's little complicated than you may have to re-integrate the design.
