hi all, i would like to learn webdesign practically. so i would like to know is there any free website which offers quality training to develop website. please let me know the url(if so). thanks in advance.

well, I think both of you don't have to ask this question here, as you can find good place to learn in your own country ,if you really want to learn ,start from those site, and after you learn something, you can start learn from English site.

Well I would say by Dummies series and start reading it .
Dummies are very good for beginner, Try it Out !

w3schools.com is a good site for learners.

Depends what you want to get into.
Are you doing just the design, or the coding and implementation of them, along with updating and editing?

You'll need a WYSIWYG editor, like Dreamweaver, or you can be a toughy and stick it out in notepad. Just Google codes as you need them (say you need a table, Google "HTML table").

Most importantly, I advise Photoshop or Flash, don't feel dirty for acquiring them unofficially, because they make money thanks to illegally downloaded copies (long cycle, not going to explain).
