What makes visitors go away from webpages?

Here.. I am accumulating a list of the factors that cause visitors to leave webpages while browsing-

1- Very High Loading Time
2- Difficult Navigation System
3- Bogus Content
4- Not enough content
5- Too many ads
6- Difficult to get used to layout
7- No member base
8- Full of spam

If you too have some thoughts of your own, then please do post them.

I think too much loading time for a website is the biggest flaw that must be avoided at once.

People may sometimes consider this as a sign of disrespect towards them, and tend to escape!

If a site is well-organized, a webmaster can avoid the problem you're talking into this post.
If homepage is filled of "titles", that could attract members BUT not bore them, it'd be successful.
A webmaster must attract visitors making them curious. If he's able to do it, his site will be a great one.

Color scheme (considered part of layout?)

Absolutely hate visiting a page where I can barely read its content. At least provide users with another skin man!

Yes first factor will be loading time and I think that most important factor is the content of the website. If your content is unque and useful to the most of the visitors they would like to visit it again. I have seen that many websites having same content floating around internet. So according to me if you want to have more visitors and want to bring your visitors again to your site Content is a key.

Poor navigation is one of the reasons people exits a website.

If the website loads too slowly, I am out. Don't have the patience to wait an eternity for a webpage to load.
If the website is full of ads, flashy ads, pop-ups, pop-unders, ads flying across the screen, etc..., I am also out. Don't trust these kind of websites. Some of them try to install crap on your PC.

I also hate sites with flash intro, must of them are boring and takes time to load. The clever one usually give you the option to skip the intro, the silly one forces you to watch it... I usually back click when there is not option to skip

There are some fantastic sites made purely with flash, the complexity of the entire thing makes me stick around even with the loading time.

Pretty cool IMO

Anyway for those flash intros, I also tend to skip them... or by the time I switch to that page (I open alot of background tabs) the intro would have finished loading/playing

content of a site.... visitor can't get anything... not all visitors are into pictures and videos.. and it also slow the loading of page.. its important to have something to read... something informative and useful...
