I want to try to design my site without Macromedia Dreamweaver these time but I have no idea on which software should I use. I can use Notepad can't I? Anybody can recommend me a good software to use?
There are many software programs that you can use. Of course, you can use Notepad to write the HTML code but Notepad isn't a WYSIWYG editor, so you would need to use a web browser to see the result.
If you want to use a text editor, I recommend Textpad instead of Notepad.
If you are looking for another html editor to use, other than Dreamweaver, maybe you can try Sharepoint designer (by Microsoft) or CoffeeCup HTML editor which is another good tool.
You can use Notepad to write code too, but it will take you more time to code.
