i have seen most of the people building website but mostly they copy the templates already available on internet.. no one teaches to develop site from the scratch.

where you can everything from beginning how to build your own website..

w3school only provide tutorials about web desiging languages. it does't provide any help on website development.

The reason people develop their websites from copied templates is because it takes a lot of time and effort to make the site from scratch with the use of web development. You'd need quite a bit of knowledge to know how to do this anyway since you'd need to know the website language or so. No-one wants to take the time to do this unless they're experienced with it and know that it's going to be a success for them. I'm sure if you request a teaching somewhere that you'll find someone who'll help you out. Use Google if you want to learn web development and do a website from scratch.

This is an excellent question .I would love to know more answer about this.

The idea is that you follow the tutorials and learn as you do.

You have to start at the basics and work up from there.

Well you should take some online courses or go to some classes dedicated to the subject maybe.

I build all my sites from scratch. The only templates I copy are the ones I have made already. w3school.com is a great site to learn HTML and the basics, but there are other sites out there as well.

Well! you are right about website designing and development. People like to use the templates instead or start all over again as people like to focus on website contents are materials. Similarly it helps in improve the existing design as we dont have to be worry about the basic. We can concentrate on advance things instead of basics...
