Hey ,
does anyone own a wii? Are they any good? im thinking about getting one but heard some bad reviews ?

i do, dont expect to much out of it graphic wise, its alittle bit better than the gamecube, its more about its controlling and getting you more INTO the game, which is fun.

There has been no major issues (wiimote strap, mehh dont consider that major), but it can be a little hard to find one as demand is quite high (hah, take that Sony!)

I don't... I have played it though and it seems like it would be a very good system for kids.

Bought a Wii for my son. He loves it.
It's a lot of fun and I play it with him.

i don't know who you got thous reviews from but they don't know what they are on about it is the most fun games consul to have ever been brought out get one and never look back.

I played one round my friends for about 4-5 hrs they are good in the sense that the motion detection is very accurate but problem is after a good 3 and a half hours they start to get slightly boring plus too many jagged lines for me graphic wise but other than that it's great.

It depends what kind of gamer you are. For games I tend to prefer realistic online FPS's (e.g. Call of Duty) so I have an xbox 360 but my brother has a wii and he enjoys it.
