I think your logo should be hypelinked to the index page so that when users click on the logo from any page on the site, it takes them back to the index page, this is sort of standard in most websites.

There is no logo yet. It's all text there. There is a contest going on and I am hoping to get some entries to choose from.
When a logo will be put up there, there will be definitly be a link to the homepage.
