1st Place in 40 major search engines

I was surfing the net doing my daily SEO research when I came upon this website that guaranteed 1st placement on 40 major search engines, including Google. Not only that, they said it is FREE! I immediately said SCAM! They said that they don't use any blackhat techniques and you will never get banned. Does anyone know if there is some truth to this statement

Oh, and they should have no problem getting "1st placement on 40 major search engines" for obscure keywords!

Imposible ! I am also search engine optimizer not senior but do many succesful projects,When your site will come on google then automatically in a month you can see your site on different search engines ( on different rank) bcz other search engines get result to Google.

If it's free. I would try it with a throw away domain :-)

There aren't 40 'major' search engines anyway

google, yahoo, live, ask, baidu and some other country specific search engines are all we have.. I hope they are not counting google.com and google.co.uk etc. as different search engines because ranking in these google country specific search engines are different...

Anyone who guarantees number 1 placement in the SERPs is most likely a scammer. I would stay away from this and divert my efforts in doing SEO on our sites myself.
