Maybe the OP is referring to submitting his site in Google. If it is, don't fret at it takes time before Google includes your site in their search database.
Just build backlinks and let the SE bots find your sites - its faster that way
If I am not mistaken, you mean you have submitted your site to Google for example but are not able to see your site in its index? Well, in such cases, you need adding a few links to your website, this will help the crawlers faster finding your site and indexing it.
