Default How much do you spend on SEO?

If you have a website, how much do you spend on SEO excluding content of your site? For example, you have a URL that you want to promote. How much are you willing to spend on directory submissions, social bookmarking, paid links, etc.

Just wanted to know the average money that is spend to promote a site as I am planning to do the same!

I spend normally the 50% of the earnings and profit i earn from my websites and or blogs on the seo. I use all sorts white hate seo to promote my sites rather than black hat seo, which might be beneficial immediately but will create problems in the future.

I'm not spending on it at the moment. I tend to exhaust every thing I have learned in SEO in our sites and if I don't see any favorable results from it, that might be the time that I would have to outsource it

I don't spend any money at all, I simply use some free ones and enter my site to a few by myself.

exactly. you can work hard for it, but if you're talking with big business this is the right time to outsource.

I do the same. There's no need to spend money if you know the tricks
