can anyone give more information about why Wordpress is best? I want to know to increase my Knowledge about Wordpress.

Wordpress is best an most common platform for Blogging. But if you want to do some creative and different than others, you can try Joomla for Blogging. As Joomla can be used very effectively for Blogging.

Wordpress its very easy to customize and you have free themes also.

Also the script itself is free and has a huge community.. also its updated very often.

I also have to agree that Wordpress is quite the handy CMS. It is easy to install and if you know HTML, CSS, and PHP you can easily create your own themes.

For a beginner it is relevant to use Wordpress.

There are a variety of CMS programs available for creating weblog for example : Joomla !, Mambo, Magento, Drupal etc. but among them the most well-known is Wordpress platforms. And as you say that you are new to this, there can be no other better suitable that WordPress.
