Default Multiple styles for a forum?

Do you offer multiple styles on your forum to allow users to select the one they like or do you just provide one style for all?
I think it is too much of a headache to provide more than one style and have to support them. So, I usually provide just one style and I don't know if users really care.

ablaye! I've been on a forum for sometime, which had option of different layouts on user end. I don't think that it should be any problem for moderator. Users usually don't care, but having different layout than they were using for a long time, is a refreshing experience.

I cannot stand doing this because I like to know everyone will see the same thing, WYSIWYG. I don't like the idea that some people are viewing my site differently to how I intended it to be. The exception would be that I designed each of the styles to be compliant (same widths, fonts etc. just different colors and imagesets) but I can't imagine a situation where I'd have the time to do that.

Make all the style under 1 parent style and that save you a lot of time.

Yes. I also provide a single style for the users of a Forum.
Though i will soon be providing an option for users to switch between fluid and fixed forum layout.

I am not a forum owner, but I think if we want to have a good forum with a lot of users, we shoule have a lot of styles for our members, or we could not keep our member here in the forum.
for me, if I found there are only a little post I can reply, I might leave this forum.

This links to this in a way.

I dont believe that multiple forum styles should be offered.
I personally believe that a uniform design for a website is a stronger standing point then "giving the users the option to see what they want". Though I do think that there needs to be a dark and a light version of a style, that is debatable, but it will satisfy the tastes of many.

Again, it is the same style, one light one dark.

When I was hosting a small forum I offered several styles. Several light and several dark. Users like more themes, more colors. When I made the forum I asked them if they want any certain styles and colors and I got many replies. I made only a few styles and I downloaded some. You can't make all users happy but I think more styles will atract more users.

Just 1 style. When I first started my forum I went through a lot of styles and narrowed it down to 3 or 4 that looked the best. Why didn't I just let everyone pick between those? Because I like to have control haha And because the one I chose looked the best. I don't think it's necessary to give the user so many options that they are overwhelmed.
