When I started learning PHP I thought it was really difficult butas I got more and mroe involved into it I started lovign it and saw how easy it was, how did you find php to learn?

it was intimidating that I had to download a lot of tutorials... but when I started, the learning was pretty fast... though I had a hard time using PHP as middleware for 3 tier apps like Flash-PHP-MySQL.

the best way to learn the php is to use the black book of pho ,but you don want to purchase it then you can go for some free online legal tutorial,from that u can learn php more and in deep.and now a days there is more demand for php.

I had trouble learning it, because php wasn't popular in our area, as .net was the subject students learn for four years than they don't like to switch to php.
I learn php mostly from online tutorials. I couldn't find any good book here so from the begining (datatypes) to template based development, internet was my only resource to seek help.

I started learning PHP from some books which were very basic, it was good for early learning but after sometime you realize they have not taught you much, but just scratched the surface of PHP. I have learnt most of my PHP from www[dot]php[dot]net , it has one of the best documentations and there are always people who are ready to help when you have problems.
