It there a Virtual server out there for mySQL that can be used instead of actually installing apache,php, and mySQL? I currently use multiple machines to develop websites and need different databases on each but don't want apache servers on all of them. any ideas would be appriciated.

Well, I have a server on my USB drive, here's the tutorial I used to install wordpress, from there on I installed my own stuff on it. I tried both the programs out. They both work nicely.
