Default Using perl on Linux

I am using Redhat Linux and I like to install perl on it but I can't find a version which is stable on Linux operating system. Is there any way to solve my problem. I really appreciate all comments.

Thanks a lot.

Perl is just about the most stable development tool ever. I've never seen a Linux distribution that had a problem with it - in fact, most RELY on its presence for important features such as package management.

Exactly how was it unstable for you?
