Default What happened to Cuil???

Whatever happened to Cuil??? I remember this search engine was touted as THE search engine that was going to dethrone Google.
I haven't heard much of Cuil lately. How is the search market share???
Microsoft's Bing is probably getting way more searches than Cuil.
Is too early to say RIP Cuil???

I caught Cuil parsing without a user agent the other day and promptly shot an email off to them about it.

Cuil's bot is called Twiceler by the way .. and it parses quite a bit, but I think the parse might somehow be disconnected from the index because the results for various terms in their "cluster" index have been the same for months.

I think Cuil would do well to just start over. They have the infrastructure to put on a good search, but they are grossly lacking in the ability department.

Cuil grabbed headlines for two main reasons;
- claimed to index more sites (120 million) than Google
- it was created by ex-Google employees
By returning irrelevant search results, it didn’t matter how many websites they had indexed, nobody could find what they were looking for.
I have read that Cuil is re-emerging as a real-time search engine offering a number of new features. But they are a little too late...
