Default PPP - Pay Per Play ?

PPP sounds like a great new way for webmasters to advertise and make money from all of their traffic although since its still very ealry I'm not sure what to make of it.

I was wondering if anyone had heard of it or has any thoughts.

I have joined and below is my referal link which I would appriciate anyone trying it to join through although if you would rather not then just look up NetAudio Ads in google.

Ever come across one of those "next generation smiley" adds where theres that annoying voice that says "helllooo??"

It freaked me out so bad when I first heard it (I was home alone, in the dark, playing runescape whilst 'browsing net', and I'm trying to PK and I hear this "hheellloooo" and I full shit bricks.

Not only is it an annoying practice to have random sounds played on your website, it also kills bandwidth. I mean, some websites NEED sound, and I still stand strong behind my arguments I made earlier in favor of sound on a website, however, the annoying sounds of someone randomly talking, etc. just kill your website.

Imagine trying to browse a forum, and every time you click a link, you hear a different sound each time, just like flicking a TV channel back in the 90's.

As a personal experience for myself, when looking for hosts I came across a website, and it looked really good etc.
But when I loaded the frontpage, I was confronted with this sound of a girl babbling on about the company and its products, with no way to turn it off.
What did I do?
Closed the tab, and never revisted (nor took notice of their name).

There’s another pay per play that will play some sort of music and advertisement every time you visit a site. Not speaking characters though. It could work for music websites. Then again I have the sound turned off on my PC so I wouldn’t hear it anyway.
