Default paid inclusion in SE

Hi !
As you may already know that there are dozens of search engines now a days. and ofcourse, google is the best.
But i wonder to see that some search engines ask for small fee for including site to their database.

What would you prefer and do ? Paid inclusion or free inclusion to SE.
Or having your site listed in google is enough for you?

Hi ... good question, I've been wondering the same thing. MIVA seems to get a lot of attention, on some sites. Am anxious to see what responses your thread gets. Thanks.

I've never known a Search engine that you HAVE to pay for! Of course Google et al have Adwords, but you should never have to pay for a basic organic listing.

I haven't heard about making a paid submission to Search Engines.Infact submitting to any search engines for the matter is not at all recommended.Rather link building with websites that are cached and indexed by SearchEngines will be better as this would enable the web-crawlers of SearchEngines to find your website.

Maybe the OP is referring to paid inclusion in a search engine's directory.

There are some SE directories that could give you traffic - although minimal, but they tend to be targeted. Inclusion on them would also help in your SERP ranking.

I wont recommend it, but I would rather go paid directory submission, in that way, you not only get high pr one way back link but your website also get index in most of the SEs.

All search engine crawl sites automatically. There is no need to submit your site manually to all search engines. google, yahoo, msn are the best search engine and no paid inclusion.
so avoid to submit site into paid search engines.

Why would you pay for it, if you can get included for free?
