New member hi.

I also happen to run www.webmastersofafrica.com - a site dedicated to gathering the names/locations of all webmasters of African descent both on the mother continent and abroad.

Why pay someone with no idea of your culture to do a site for you when there are perhaps tons of eager webmasters right next door to you who know you and your culture? Also, I update the site with tips, hacks, tricks and commentary every 2 weeks. A newsletter is sent out monthly.

Many have emailed me to let me know they have received leads/jobs from the site and even I have received 3 jobs from my own site

Interesting idea for a website. Your site needs some design improvement though. Make sure you post your website for review in the Website Reviews section.
Anyway, welcome to Webmaster Ground. I hope to see you participating more often here.

Thanks for the response ablaye. The point of WOA though wasn't (at least not initially) to put out the best designed site. It is a directory first and foremost amassing members to show the world Africa' talent.

That notwithstanding, once the site gets to a certain number (currently, membership stands at 85), I will think about it

, BTW, I'm an Egyptian webmaster. Very nice site idea, but you need to add a forum to make it perfect.
