Default Microsoft make an offer to buy Yahoo!

Breaking report on Sky News (UK) is that Microsoft have offered £22.4 (GBP) billion to buy Yahoo!

Now this is interesting, will Microsoft be accused of trying to form a monopoly on the web? Anyway, this could be interesting, say like if Microsoft develops a web advertising program (from what they have as well as Yahoo YPN), they probably could offer some serious competition to Google, which should be good.

if they get the deal that would mean a tough competition for google. Lets see how google is going to deal in such a situation.

Hopefully that will mean more innovation from Google, and that they respect user privacy.

gates started microsoft by buying a DOS from somebody else to sell. the only thing MS is good at is buy and SELL.

recently i read that yahoo is looking for partnership with google.
