I'm currently building a new website that will have tons of content when released. I'll have 2000-2500 categories and plan to get some links from wikis.

My website is about technology & communication. Anyone has a wiki list on that niche?

You can get some decent traffic from wikis, but as for link - they don't count anymore.Wiki is using a no follow attribute but still it gave a lot of traffic !

To stay in a category, you simply have to register and write a couple articles on wikipedia.

Then, add your links in the wikipedia categories.

When done, check back in the categories daily to see if your links are still there. If not, check who deleted them. If the user is an online user, ask him why he removed your link. If he wasnt registered, add your link again.

Most of the time, when you get your link removed on wikipedia, thats a competitor that want the monopoly of the category !
