I can honestly say I dont know, however in my experience, if it's minor you're looking at a cease and desist, where your website will be legally force offline if you do not do it yourself. That's what is done for sites using nulled scripts.

Nope, hasn't happened to me; but I as I said I have *seen* people successfully sued.

In the US anything use to accomplish the copyright violation can be seized by the feds.....
As well as any money or anything paid for with the illegal money....
