I'm not entirely sure what you are saying, but I think what you meant to say was "an icon is not expected to have good quality"? Your technique may work decent on smaller images but if you try to take a meium sized image and reduce it to a little small icon you will get some major quality loss, same as you would if you made an icon a big picture.

Thanks for those icons Technoguy, they are pretty nice. I have uploaded a MASSIVE pack of icons of every sort. The file is a big 96 megabytes, so I hope you enjoy it! Took a long time to upload!

still, icons with low resolution is a crap icon.

a simple icon is what covers and identifies a desktop application. same as to the tools (look at browsers). why did they have to change the icons to catchy looking ones?

making icons beautiful is a plus to a product. lowering the resolution is not recommended thought feasible solution fo net traffic.

Thank you joker for keeping your promise, finally I got it from someone here rather than discussing something about what is icon and how it should look like.

I will definitely use it for my desktop applications.

like you don't. admit it. you're ripping threads from other site. is this the way you earn money for living? do you find happiness in it? feel fulfilled? good luck in your venture...

you started out just this month. but you're post count is 366 (as of this post). common spammer. thr great pretender. techno-freak. wanna be. it took me 7 quality outsourced projects and well satisfied clients for 3 year to get my reputation. but newbies like you taint the name "webdeveloper"...

I'm sick of your wicked spams. go win this contest and get out of this forum. you're not in the right place, first of all, anyway.
