I have a jpg of layout but didnt sliced it. Anyone know how to slice it for html and which is the best way to slice jpg? Any tutorial available for it?

try using photoshop use silce tool and save it as web page...

I have done it with slicing as per the advice. But still would like to know what is hotspot?

Can you explain more plz?

i visited that web site...

http://www.newgrounds.com/

but i dont see any thing such as HotSopt... this term is new to me.. please explain what you mean by it ??

Open photoshop and use the slice tool to create slices.

After you have created the slices you want, then go to File -> Save For Web... -> And select the quality settings and press Save/OK.

photoshop is the best to slice it for html

As people have said, you can use photoshop or fireworks to slice your image. I found a tutorial here: How to..slice an image in Photoshop

I have used Paintshop Pro once to sliced a JPG image format. So, I think just try to use it and you will be fine but still if u r uncomfortable PM me I will help you. I am online all the time.
