I am using photoshop plugins first time so can anyone tell me how does a filter or plugin place itself in the filters menu?

There are so many photoshop tutorials out there in the web and some in this forum itself . Have a look at them btw always remember "google is your friend " !

Googling is easy , I come here only when google wont help me anymore.
