Changing Online Image
I want to change the online image on my forum. This is the image that appears next to the username. How would I do that? I mean like getting a new image.

Do you mean an avatar? You can load a new one in your profile or control panel (or whatever the forum software you use dictates). The sites in my sig, for example, if logged in one just clicks My Account, the Avatar, and loads. Automatically resizes, too. Other sites have you click user CP, then edit options display.

Ah, OK. Yes, that appears to be an image - user_online.gif and user_offline.gif. You would just need to replace those images. I am not sure how the template system works on this software, but you might have to adjust it if you use graphics of a different size.

Nah, don't worry about template edits, its unneccersary.
What I do when editting a style, is change the actual image itself. I don't have aproblem with this as I always make sure I have access to the originals and all that.
Going through and editting the templates just gets messy.
The only time you'll have a problem is of the img tag has width and height elements, and your new image doesn't fit. Then you may need to do some edits but until then, assume a simple replacement image will work.
Hope I've helped, if you can give us the forum software I can tell you the path.

Try the misc. Folder, it should be in there.
I'm sorry, I thought I'd have the internet by now, I'm stuck on my phone and I can't access my cpanel.
Remember, some styles have extreme file placemet variations, others don't.
But try /images/STYLE?/Misc
