They are very useful, easy and quick to use since I usually post and send images using them. I don't have a website to upload images so this is a good option for sharing images in forums, websites and Ebay/auction sites if you sell and want to sell stuff. Thanks for the links!

You gotta watch out with those image hosters..because sometimes they disable hotlinking, and the image is replaced by a small avatar of the hoster.. which is VERY annoying!

You avoid that stuff not using Photobucket.com, imageshack.us, angelfire.com and ripway.com. They are the most popular image hosters so, use more unknown sites and you won't have this problem.

I may add www.mediamax.com for image hosting. But it also hosts videos and music.

www.imageshack.us - my favorite, just images but great for forums or whatever because they have code ready as soon as you upload for immediate forum bbcode and use of thumbnails, etc.

But does this really matter so much? Just use imageshack or photobucket... imageshack has 1.5mb size limit and your files get never deleted!
