I use google images or istockphoto(for professional designs)

I once got some images from a website. Didn't know they were copyrighted.
A few years later, I received a letter from Getty Images stating that I didn't have permission to use the images and was going to have to pay $$$ for using them.
I took the images down and never replied to them.
It's better to get stock photos from websites, free or paid, than stealing them from other websites.

I recommend istockphoto too

I'm a big fan of istock. They aren't free, but they're reasonable and the quality and selection is top notch!

Yeah, This site has excellent and very dynamic shots.

Shutterstock website is good.

Sign up on this digital picture forum and post a request. Most photographers have thousands of stock images that they are willing to share.

Sometimes you just have to ask in the right place. So ask in a place where photographers hang out.

iStock charges too much. Go to sxc.hu, this is the "Stock Xchange", free high quality stock photos. Good stuff.
