I started a martialarts web directory site before 2 months. Still It is not in google page rank. How do i promote my site?

i have a simple tips for you:

submit your website URL to search engine (MSN, google, yahoo) and online directory (DMOZ). for a more search engine list, view my article at http://www.bytastudios.com/blog/arch...ne-submission/.

join google webmasters tool (www.google.com/webmasters/). google webmasters have a lot tool for search engine optimizing (SEO).

join forum, social networking and put your website url on them

if your website is a blog, try to submit your website on technorati.com, blogpulse.com, icerocket.com

good quality backlinks with pagerank. Remember, google only updates it every 3 months or so..So it looks like you have a fresh 2-3 months to start building some quality link partners!

Further link building strategies is needed to make the PR higher Link to quality sites with lots of quality IBLs and/or with PR to pass the PR juice into your site...

try promoting your site.. get backlinks from quality sites and if all goes well you could get a pagerank for your site.

Get some quality back links with PR before you achieve PR yourself. Once your site has some PR it will be easier to do reciprocal link trades if you choose to do this.

I believe the OP is referring to SERP ranking.

I suggest on building more and more backlinks using the keywords you want to rank for as anchor texts. Just try to vary with your anchors so as to make them look natural.
