Are adwords rates going up to much?

I have noticed in some areas the pay per click on adwords can cost $0.50+ which can be costly.

Do you use them or do you look for a cheaper one?

They are all bogus. No one is giving that many cents. I have experienced a hell with these people. I am fed up with this system. Once they said that for a search word, they will offer 2$ but ended up in getting only 10 cents. So they are all just humbug.
