Chitika eminimalls and Google Adsense can coexist. This means you can display both on your site without any violation of their terms of service. I received some paychecks from Google Adsense but I have yet to receive one from Chitika. Maybe I have been missing something that's why Chitika has not been proftable for me.
To make more out of adsense you need to align the placement of ads in a proper way. You can get that information from this forum. Sit in your visitor's chair and think like him. Then you know when to update the website and where to put the ads. The key is to update it frequently to sustain visitors who tend to click the ads.
I like the control of what you advertise on your site with Chikita. I'm not doing well with AdSense. I've made a whopping $12.
You should try experimenting with different ads placements and sizes.
If you can't make money with adsense, chances that you won't be able to make money with any other PPC service.
The same is the case with me too. i too run both google adsense and chitika eminimalls in my blogs but the conversion rate for chitika is far less when compared to google adsense. i also think that there is some flaw in chitika's tracking system too.
