What Brin and Page originally meant for PR to indicate (
Read section 2 ), is NOT what it is now.
Toolbar PR numbers are so corrupted by link buyers, link beggars and link schemes it is meaningless (

So a high PR simply means a lot of links. it does NOT reflect quality, value, usefulness or any other aspect of a page.
