I like yahoo messenger over other messengers, though I am a frequent user of google talk and MSN too. But I think that yahoo messenger has a pretty attractive outlook. Its one noted feature which was introduced by yahoo and then later on adopted by MSN is the capability of chatting while appearing offline..
